Removal and installation of headlights

Headlight with a xenon lamp

Instruction: The headlight design with a galogenovy lamp corresponds to a headlight design with a xenon lamp. In a headlight with a galogenovy lamp there is no only a block of ignition (2). The filament lamp of a passing beam (8), and also the electric motor of adjustment of range of light (11) are executed differently.

Removal

Be careful at replacement of xenon lamps in headlights. Danger of a travmirovaniye owing to a high voltage! Just in case switch off a headlight and disconnect the storage battery. After that quickly switch on and off the headlight switch to remove residual stress. For reasons of safety carry footwear with rubber soles.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative cable (-) the storage battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the storage battery.

Take out the top left or right cover of the engine if it is established. Right headlight: Disconnect an air line between the forward panel and the air filter, address to the Section Installation of the forward panel in situation for maintenance. The area under a headlight for protection against damages of a paint and varnish covering protect a sticky tape.

Turn out screws (1) and (5).

Unscrew screws (2) and (4) on some turns, without turning out them. (6) – persistent screw. Disconnect a cable and disunite the socket (3). Take out a headlight forward.

Adjustment

Situation on height is regulated by screws (1 and 2), situation on the horizon the screw (2).

The correct provision of headlights can be adjusted only with use of special devices on HUNDRED.

Fog lights

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove a lattice of an admission of air from a bumper, address to the Section Removal and installation of a front bumper.
Turn out screws (arrows on an accompanying illustration), disconnect a headlight at inside of a bumper and take out it.
Disunite the socket (1) headlight.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal. Thus watch that directing pins entered into openings.

Replacement of filament lamps

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Turn a lamp with the boss (2) counter-clockwise (shooter) and take out from the headlight case.
