Removal and installation of a brake disk/support

Rusty brake disks when braking are at the bottom of emergence of jolting which does not disappear and at long braking. In this case it is necessary to replace brake disks.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Mark with an arrow the direction of rotation of the tire. Unscrew bolts of fastening of a wheel. Lift and establish the car on supports. Process of removal of supports of different models can have differences. Always it is necessary to replace bolts of fastening of the corresponding support on new since they are being self-stopped. Besides, it is necessary to pay attention that bolts of fastening of the corresponding brake disk have the established moment of a tightening. Back brake: Disconnect a cable of the parking brake from a support, address to the Section Removal and installation of blocks of brake mechanisms of back wheels. Generally the support can act in film without removal of brake shoes. Turn out bolts of fastening of a support and adhere a wire a support to a suspension bracket. Do not disconnect a brake hose, otherwise after installation it is necessary to delete air from brake system with use of the special device. If the support is necessary for removing completely: At a forward support disconnect the brake pipeline in a junction with a hose; At a back support disconnect at first the brake pipeline from a brake hose and then if it is necessary, disconnect a hose at a support. When opening brake system brake liquid follows. Substitute under following liquid a bottle intended only for brake liquid. It is possible to suck away previously also liquid a siphon from the tank. Remove a brake disk. If the brake disk is supposed to be used further, do not remove it from a nave with use of force (hammer blows). For this purpose use rust solvent.

Installation

For achievement of uniform braking from both parties it is necessary to have brake disks with identical quality of a surface. Therefore it is necessary to replace both brake disks of one axis or to pierce them for one size.

HUNDRED can check disks on face palpation. The maximum palpation should not exceed 0.05 mm, and the maximum difference in thickness of a disk should not be more than 0.01 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Measure thickness of a brake disk, address to appropriate section. If on a flange of a brake disk and a nave of a wheel there is a rust, it is necessary to remove it. Clear a thinner a surface of a new brake disk of a sheeting. Establish into place a support. Depending on the instruction apply new being self-stopped bolts. Watch that the brake hose was not braided. Observe the established value of the moment of a tightening of the corresponding support, address to Specifications. Back brake: Connect a cable of the parking brake to a support and adjust the parking brake, address to the Section Adjustment of the parking brake. If the brake hose acted in film, fix it and remove air from system by means of the special device (work HUNDRED). Observing the rotation direction, establish a wheel. Lower the car on wheels, and only after that tighten fastening bolts cross-wise the moment 120Нм. Several times standing press a pedal of a brake so that to feel resistance. Check liquid level in the tank, if necessary, add liquid.

Attention, carry out reliability control:

- Whether brake hoses are fixed?

- Whether the brake hose in the holder is fixed?

- Whether unions for air removal are tightened?

- Whether enough of brake liquid is filled in?

- On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal effort of 200-300 N (20-30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions on tightness.

Carefully let's be earned extra to new brake shoes. For this purpose several times brake the car since speed 80 to 40 km/h slightly pressing a pedal. Between braking let's be cooled to a brake.
