Removal, installation and coupling check

The aligning opravka of AUDI-3176 or the ordinary aligning tool is necessary for installation of coupling, for example, HAZET 2174.



    Remove a check point, address to the Section Removal and check point installation.
    To exclude a flywheel provorachivaniye at an otvorachivaniye of bolts of fastening, fix a flywheel a screw-driver and an opravka or the AUDI-3067 tool.

The AUDI-3067 tool is shown on an accompanying illustration in the provision of installation, at removal the tool should be overturned.

    Weaken bolts of fastening of a press disk cross-wise on 1 – 1.5 turns so that to unload press a disk.

If bolts at once to unscrew completely, it is possible to damage press springs.

    After weakening of bolts turn out them completely. Take out press and conducted disks.

Do not drop disks at removal, otherwise after installation into place there can be difficulties at switching off of coupling and breakthroughs at its work.

    Wipe the bearing of switching off of coupling, without washing out it. Wipe a flywheel.



    Check press a disk on existence of traces of an overheat and flutes.
    Check the ends of press springs (an arrow on an accompanying illustration). Wear to a half of their thickness is allowed.
    Check spring connections between a press disk and a cover on existence of cracks. Check reliability of zaklyopochny connections. When weakening rivets it is necessary to replace coupling.
    Check adjacent surfaces on existence of cracks, traces of an overheat and wear. The press disks having a deflection inside to 0.2 mm can be applied further. Check is carried out by means of a ruler and a set щупов.
    Check a flywheel on existence of traces of an overheat and flutes. Greasy disk and the disk having mechanical damages, it is necessary to replace. Check thickness of frictional slips. On HUNDRED it is possible to check face palpation of a disk. It should not exceed 0.8 mm (at distance of 2.5 mm from edge).

Such check becomes only concerning an old disk which created difficulties at coupling switching off. If necessary, will carefully correct a disk.

    Check a hand a disk in the established situation. For this purpose slightly compress the bearing a hand and turn. The bearing should rotate easily.

At bearings of switching off of coupling with a plastic ring the last can be disconnected at removal of a check point or the bearing. It is not at the bottom for bearing replacement.

    The disconnected ring before check point installation paste to a bearing ring AMW 195 KD 01 glue. Thus 3 nouses of a plastic ring (an arrow on an accompanying illustration) should enter into grooves of a ring of the bearing.

If the working surface of a plastic ring is worn-out more than on 0.5 mm, it is necessary to replace the bearing of switching off of coupling

    At car movement the damaged bearing of switching off of coupling proves noise by pressing of a pedal of coupling. In this case it is necessary to replace the bearing.


Check new details according to the catalog. If the details which were in work are established, previously they are necessary for checking.

If the old disk of coupling burned down owing to an overload, for elimination of a smell it is necessary to clear carefully press a disk, a flywheel and the engine from a check point.


    Before installation of a new press disk remove protective anticorrosive greasing only on its working surface. In other places greasing at all do not delete, since it can lead to essential reduction of service life of coupling. Check reliability of installation of an aligning opravka on a flywheel. Clear of a rust of a shlitsa of a conducted disk. Grease with a thin layer of MoS2 greasing teeths of primary shaft. HUNDRED apply for this purpose AUDI-G000100 greasing. After it move a conducted disk in different directions on primary to a shaft so that the nave easily moved on a shaft. Surpluses of greasing surely remove.
    At installation of a conducted disk watch that a package of screw springs or «Getriebeseite» inscription («the check point Party») was turned towards a check point. Frictional slips should adjoin to a flywheel. If there are color labels, watch that white points of a two-mass flywheel (And) and a press disk (In) were opposite to each other, address to the illustration Flywheel, a basket and a coupling disk.
    Center a conducted disk on a press disk by means of an opravka, for example, HAZET 2174 or AUDI-3176. If the conducted disk is not centered, it will be impossible to enter later primary shaft.
    Establish press a disk on aligning pins on a flywheel.

Press the disk should adjoin to a flywheel completely. Only after that insert fastening bolts. At all do not tighten press a disk bolts, aligning pins and their openings otherwise can be damaged.

    Tighten bolts of fastening of a press disk cross-wise on 1 – 1.5 turns. After that tighten bolts the moment 25Нм. Thus press the disk should not warp, since aligning pins and their openings otherwise can be damaged.
