The AUDI A4 quattro car has a constant full drive. To a drive of back wheels are in addition applied: driveshaft, differential of the back axis, two power shafts of back wheels, and also Torsen's interaxal differential.

The driveshaft transfers a torque from a check point of a forward axis to differential of a back axis. From differential of a back axis two power shafts transfer movement to back wheels. For compensation of various turns of wheels and torque distribution between forward and back axes, depending on traffic conditions, on models with a full drive Torsen's being self-blocked interaxal differential which can transfer a variable torque on lobbies and back wheels is in addition established.

Features of towage

Models with a full drive can be towed with the lifted lobbies or back wheels.

Thus, however, the car cannot be towed on distance more than 50 km and speed of towage should not exceed 50 km/h. To be towed the car should on the special conveyor.
