Removal and shock-absorber installation

Shock-absorber

1 — the Nut, 25Нм, being self-stopped, surely replace
2 — a shock-absorber Support
3 — the Buffer of a course of compression
4 — the Protective casing
5 — the Shock-absorber, pay attention to distinction performed by a running gear

Removal

The special tool is necessary for removal of the shock-absorber. HUNDRED AUDIS apply to this purpose the adaptation for V.A.G.1752/1 compression, V.A.G adapter. 1752/9 and holder of a spring of V.A.G. 1752/16.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Mark with an arrow on the tire the direction of rotation of a wheel. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel. Lift and establish on supports a back part of the car and remove a wheel. Remove a spring, address to the Section Removal and installation of a screw spring.
    Unscrew a nut (1) and take out a bolt (on an accompanying illustration the guard is not shown).
    Turn out a bolt (2).

The wheel casing does not act in film.

    Take out the shock-absorber.
    At an otvorachivaniye and an inhaling of nuts of fastening of a support of the shock-absorber hold from a provorachivaniye a rod. HUNDRED AUDIS apply for this purpose the special tool 3017А.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish a support on the shock-absorber and fix it a new being self-stopped nut the moment 25Нм.
    Tighten bolts (2) moment 36Нм. Watch the provision of the bottom fastening. At first tighten a nut of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber (1) moment 30Нм.
    Establish into place a spring, address to appropriate section. Observing the direction of rotation of a wheel, fix a back wheel, lower the car on wheels and only after that tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the moment 120Нм.

The inhaling of a nut of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber is necessary for making as follows:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Lower the car on wheels. Weaken the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber. Several times press through a car suspension bracket. Tighten a new nut (1) moment 150Нм and then tighten on a corner 90 °.
