Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove an amortization rack. The amortization rack can deal only with use of the special tool.

The spring of an amortization rack is compressed by big effort. For removal of the shock-absorber it is necessary to compress a spring the special adaptation.

At all do not remove the shock-absorber if the spring reliably is not compressed. At adaptation installation for compression of a spring watch that rounds of a spring were reliably captured and the adaptation could not slide off. The spring is compressed by big effort. Apply only the reliable tool. At all do not connect a spring a wire. Danger of accident!

    Clamp a spring with a tip in a vice.
    Compress a spring the corresponding adaptation. HUNDRED AUDIS apply the V.A.G 1752/1 (1) adaptation to this purpose.
    At compression watch the correct provision of a spring in the adaptation (an arrow on an accompanying illustration). (1) – the adaptation for compression, (2) – a support for spring rounds.
    Compress a spring so that the top plate was released. Unscrew a nut with a fillet of fastening of a rod. Thus hold a rod from a provorachivaniye a face key for an internal shestigrannik. The special tool (2, 3 and 4), shown on an illustration 4.3 (is for this purpose necessary for HAZET 4910/13 or AUDI-T10001/7, T10001/11 and T10001/3). Remove the compressed spring together with the adaptation for compression.
    Remove a protective casing (1) and the bottom support of a spring (2).
    Mark the provision of the bottom plate in relation to the shock-absorber (4). Disconnect a plate (3) by means of a plastic hammer and remove upward.

Installation

There are springs of various groups of the admission. It is necessary to apply only springs with an identical color label. It is recommended to replace springs and shock-absorbers in pair, i.e. from both parties of the car.

 

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Clamp a new cartridge of the shock-absorber with a tip in support of an amortization rack or in a vice with slips.

    Transfer on the new shock-absorber a label from the old. Carefully by means of a plastic hammer establish the bottom plate of a spring against the stop on the shock-absorber. Thus watch that the label on a plate coincided with a label on the shock-absorber.

    And — a shock-absorber Axis / the bearing lever

    In = 65 ± 2 °
    II\Right amortization rack,
    With = 87 ± 2 °

    The provision of the bottom plate is defined by the sizes specified an illustrations. The cut of a plate (shooter) should provide access to a body.
    Establish into place the bottom support of a spring and a protective casing.
    Establish into place compressed spring together with the adaptation for compression. The end of a round of a spring should adjoin to an emphasis.
    Establish a shock-absorber support with the top support of a spring on the compressed spring so that the support of a spring adjoined by the end of a round of a spring (the shooter on an accompanying illustration). The deviation within ± 2 ° is allowed.
    Establish a washer and a shock-absorber support.

Watch that the end of a spring adjoined to an emphasis of the top support of a spring.

    Tighten a new nut with a fillet the special tool the moment 50Нм. A spring yet do not unclench. Press vertically amortization rack the adaptation for V.A.G 1752/2 compression.
    Release the bottom lock lever and turn the top plate of a spring so that the scale of a support of an amortization rack stood on a mark 7 °.
    Watch that the ends of a spring adjoined to an emphasis of the top and bottom support of a spring.

    Fix the lock lever. The lever of a support of a spring of the V.A.G 1752/2 adaptation (shooter) should coincide with the support center. Carefully weaken the adaptation for compression of a spring and take out it. Check adjustment. If necessary, repeat procedure. Establish into place an amortization rack, address to appropriate section.
