Removal and installation of system of release. Replacement of the central, additional exhaust silencer, trailer pipe

The system of production of the fulfilled gases of the petrol engine consists of a final collector, a reception pipe, (their) catalytic converter (pour), the central exhaust silencer, a connecting pipe, the additional exhaust silencer and a trailer pipe (trailer pipes).

Petrol engine of 2.0 l

Elements of system of release can be replaced separately. In the initial equipment preliminary and additional exhaust silencers represent uniform knot. The central and additional exhaust silencers at repair can be disconnected from each other, and are on sale separately as spare parts.

Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation familiarize with Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Lift and establish the car on supports, remove the bottom cover of the engine, address to the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the bottom protection of an impellent compartment/stretcher. Spray all bolts and nuts of system of release by means for dissolution of a rust and wait some time. Turn out bolts on a connecting flange catalytic a converter/reception a pipe.

If the system of release has to act in film together with the catalytic converter, turn out fastening bolts on a flange a final collector / the catalytic converter and remove a lambda probes, address to the Section Removal and installation of the catalytic converter and a lambda probes.

    Disconnect a forward cross-piece of fastening of system of release.

Do not bend a flexible connecting element in a reception требе more than on 10 °, otherwise it can be damaged. By means of the assistant disconnect and remove release system from collars.

Diesel engine of 2.5 l

Removal of preliminary and additional exhaust silencers

If preliminary and additional exhaust silencers yet were not replaced, for separate replacement it is necessary to cut them in certain points. The place of division is noted by small hollows on an exhaust silencer pipe.

    Cut off a pipe a hacksaw on labels. Lateral labels show, the terminal plug can be how far shifted.
    Disconnect the exhaust silencer from rubber holders and take out.

Installation of system of release

Sealing laying, nuts and bolts should be replaced surely. For simplification of later dismantling of system of release it is recommended to grease bolts and nuts of fastening with high-temperature paste, for example, Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC.

Do not bend a flexible connecting element of a reception pipe more than on 10 °, otherwise it can be damaged.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish release system by means of the assistant in rubber holders. Fix a forward cross-piece the moment 25Нм on the car bottom. Fix release system at a flange with the new sealing ring, new bolts and nuts. Observe the tightening moments. If acted in film a lambda probes, establish them, address to the Section Removal and installation of the catalytic converter and a lambda probes.

Installation of preliminary and additional exhaust silencers

If preliminary or additional exhaust silencers only acted in film, fix exhaust silencers new collars.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Arrange the terminal plug (1) on the middle реза. The terminal plug (1) should settle down horizontally, bolts should show to the left.
    Establish the terminal plug so that the end of a bolt did not support its bottom edge.
    Evenly tighten bolts the moment 40Нм. Expose release system so that it settled down freely, without tension and deformations. Establish into place the bottom cover of the engine.

Replacement of a trailer pipe

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Cut off a hacksaw a trailer pipe (1) in a division place (C).
    Shift a trailer pipe (3) to a label (And). Thus combine a cut on a trailer pipe with a label (In). Tighten a collar (2) moment 25Нм. Expose a trailer pipe.

Check of system of release on tightness

At cars with the adjustable catalytic converter the leakage of system of release can result in difficulties in engine start. The engine stops, shivers at work on single turns, twitches at increase in number of turns.

    Start the engine and at the working engine close system of release by a rag. Hear to release system. If necessary, spray places of connections a head of cylinders / a final collector and final a collector/reception a pipe means for search of leaks. Check, whether there are bubbles. Eliminate a leakage.
