Identification numbers of the car

Factory plates and numbers

    4-cylinder engine: Identification number of the engine is beaten out at the left at the block of cylinders on the plane of connection of the engine and a transmission. On an illustration the petrol engine of 1.8 l with a turbo-supercharging is shown. At the diesel engine number of the engine is between the fuel pump of a high pressure and the vacuum pump.

    6-cylinder engine: Identification number of the engine is beaten out on inside of the block of the right cylinder between a head of cylinders and the hydropump (the diesel engine: between a head of cylinders and the fuel pump of a high pressure).

    Identification number of the engine is put also on a sticker on a cover of a gear belt. Besides, the identification code of the engine is available in the plate with data of the car, located in a niche for a spare wheel or on the bottom of a luggage compartment and is provided in the service book.

The sticker with data of the car is pasted in a niche of a spare wheel or on the bottom of a luggage compartment. It contains the following data:

1–Identification number of the car
2–Type designation / production number
3–Car type
4–Capacity of engine/norm on fulfilled gases/transmission
5–Engine and transmission designations
6–Number paint and varnish covering/designation of the internal equipment
7–Designations of the additional equipment
8–Empty weight/expense CO2 fuel/issue
